Happy Easter

No Easter Bunny at our house this year…but Saucy kept us entertained with her new Easter trick…sleeping soundly on the back of my desk chair.

Isn’t that great? I could hardly believe she was back there! What a talented kitty. She needs to stay away from her grammy’s house…or she won’t be able to fit up there soon. 😉

We had the best weekend!! Even though we were both away from our families and missed them all bunches (especially today!) we got soooooo much done at our house. Saturday was spent cleaning out and organizing the basement. I love it down here now! It’s so clean…I just come downstairs to make sure I’m not dreaming it. The “storage room” is completely organized with shelves and everything. Awesome!

Today was the difficult and physical labor we had been dreading. We (meaning Drew) finally mowed down the jungle that had become our back yard. The grass was so tall that Beauy’s toys were getting lost in it. We only have a little push mower (the environmentally friendly kind that doesn’t use gasoline) and it took him about 45 minutes to mow our tiny yard. Drew stopped at one point and said he felt like we were Amish. I worked behind him raking up the long blades that were littering the yard. Needless to say…it was a project. THEN…the fabulous boyfriend that he is…Drew laid down an edge along our walkway to keep the dirt and mulch off the sidewalk. It looks FANTASTIC!!! I’m so proud of him! He worked very hard and his language stayed pretty clean the entire time he was working. 🙂 Our yard is the envy of the neighborhood!

We are getting ready to watch Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. I hope it’s as good as it looks! Have a great Sunday!

Mary Ann - We missed you guys on Easter Sunday too! So many people asked about you while Daddy and I were home in Sistersville… we shared how happy you both are in your new home. Looking forward to May and seeing everyone together then. (Troy working on getting time off, too!)

Oh that Saucy… she must get her talent from her Grammy!

Love you all!
