Yesterday was a very, very exciting day. First, our good friend Nathan arrived from North Carolina for the weekend. And just as he was getting settled, there was a knock at the door. Drew’s father had driven over from Sistersville to deliver our entertainment center that he built by hand just for us!! I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. I knew it would be fantastic, but it was even better than I had imagined!! Here are a few photographs that I took of it this morning.
Isn’t the color gorgeous!?!? It matches our house perfectly! Drew gets the three shelves on the right for his PS3 and DVDs…the other side is all mine and I have no idea what I’m going to put in there…yet!
And if you are wondering where I got those fantastic tulips…Kroger for only $10.00!!!!!!!
And finally a detail shot of the legs. I think this is my favorite part of the piece.
The great thing is, this piece of furniture has a story and will be in our family forever. It’s neat to have this little piece of furniture starting it’s life history at our house. Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all your hard and beautiful work Richard. (And thanks for driving all the way to Columbus to deliver it. We’re really excited to have it for our big weekend.) We LOVE it!!!!!
