My parents moved our family to Grand Haven, MI when I was 11 years old. I was very fortunate to grow up less than a mile from the fresh water beaches. Over the 4th of July, Drew and I went to GH to do some wedding planning, visit my family and see some friends. I also had the fantastic opportunity to photograph one of the most beautiful families (both inside and out!) at their home and on the beach. We’ve known the A family for quite some time now. My mom taught both Max and Lilly in school and they have become very dear family friends to us. (We love you guys!) I was beyond thrilled when I showed up at their house and they all looked like they had just stepped out of the J Crew catalog. Gorrrrrrrr-geous!!! Michelle…you nailed the wardrobe! Great job! Here is a tiny sneak peek for you guys. I had a hard time choosing just two photographs and had an even harder time holding back a few photo surprises. I wanted to give it all away on the Sneak Peek, but my amazing self control is winning out and you’ll have to wait for your full post. 🙂
Hello fabulous!! You guys look fantastic! Lilly….I think you are on your way to being a high fashion model. You are just beautiful! Every photograph of you is perfect! And so glad Scouty dog got in at least one photo!
Umm…hello? How flipping fantastic is Grand Haven? I keep begging Drew to move back there with me. I’d love to set up shop there and take beach photos every day of the summer. The only problem is the winters (which I’m tough enough to endure, but Drew is not.) He’s a Southern Man. I have a great surprise for Max when I debut all of the photos for you guys! I think he’ll love it! Max and his dad are super athletes. Max wins all kind of championships in his age division in soccer, triathlons, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding and about any other sport that he even thinks about playing. 😉
Can’t wait to show you guys more! You are awesome and it was a pleasure and honor to spend the evening with your family. Thank you so much! xoxoxoxoox
