You saw a sneak peek of this precious little girl awhile back. (Remember the disco ball?) Our first session was cut short due to massive thunderstorms rolling in just as we decided to pack it in. I met up with Leah and her family a few weeks later to finish up. I was so surprised and happy to see that both sets of grandparents came along too!! And two of them were here all way from England! 🙂 After introductions were made, we got right down to business…which was soaking up and capturing as much Leah loving as we could.
Again Katie…you nailed the wardrobe!! You guys looked fabulous! Coordinated perfectly! 🙂
Don’t you just want to squeeze her?!?! She’s too precious!
Love those little cheeks.
Can’t you tell she’s just itching to crawl? I just got an email from Katie telling me that Leah has now mastered the art of crawling and she is impossible to keep in one spot. 😉 So glad we got these done when we did!
Now I have to tell the hibiscus garden story. This shot was not my idea. I’m always encouraging my clients to come to the shoot with ideas of their own. Sometimes the ideas work and sometimes they don’t. It doesn’t matter…as long as we try! Well this was Leah’s Grandma’s idea….and I’m letting her take FULL CREDIT because this shot turned out gorgeous!!! I never imagined when I saw it in the camera that I would love it this much when it came out. Great job Grandma!! (Grandma’s are just the best aren’t they?)
Loved it so much, I’m giving you another.
And from our first shoot (before the storm)….this little face cracked me up when I saw it. She looks like she’s thinking “Why hello!? You startled me.”
And last but certainly not least….a beautiful family photo that just screams out loud how happy this family is and how much they truly love each other…and especially little Leah.
A HUGE and I mean HUGE thank you to Leah, Alex and Katie..(not to mention all the grandmas and grandpas I got to meet!) You are such a special family and I feel so honored to have met and photographed you. Have a fabulous holiday weekend! Have fun keeping up with Leah. 🙂 xoxox
