I can’t get enough of these two. They are like food for the soul. I spent the day wrapping up their session and every photograph made me smile or squeel (which is a great combo.) I’m lucky to have my future in-laws in town as well (more on that later!) and every time Drew’s mom walked by my studio door she’d say “Aren’t they precious?!” and “Ooh I love that one.” I decided that kind of positive reinforcement is a motivator! I’m going to teach Drew how to do that. 🙂
So without further delay…I’m pleased to reveal Ben and Ellie’s full blog post from our session. As you can see, they are growing like weeds. And we were never in short supply of energy, laughs and fun, fun, fun!
Happy Halloween!! I have it on good authority that Ben was Iron Man and Ellie was a Butterfly Princess for Trick Or Treat. I’m very proud of Ellie for combining two very girly costumes into one powerful statement. 🙂
A little bit of hide-n-seek brings out the smiles in every one. Remember when you used to fit under the bed so easily?
Can these two be any cuter? I hear the magazines calling.
Ellie…words can not express how I feel about this photograph. My camera loves you. After our indoor session, we headed outside into what was our first chilly day in early October. These kiddos were not fazed.
Ben makes the scariest monster sounds. He’s very good at it. And also quizzed me on my dinosaur identification knowledge. He’s very good at that too.
Hearts are melting over this one.
And finally one of my favorite family pictures in a long time. Again…it’s not perfect. Not everyone is looking at the camera. But the look between Ellie and her mom and the happiness on (daddy) Jason’s face and the complete distraction of Ben = perfection to me.
Thank you so so much for welcoming me into your home again to photograph your gorgeous family. The love, laughs, fun and energy is jumping right out of every image. That is something that you can’t pose for in a photo. It’s pure happiness and I feel so very blessed to be a tiny part of it. Love you guys!! xoxoxo
