Through out the years on my journey I have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people. I’m especially thankful for one epic stop along the way located in a college town called Kalamazoo (yes…it’s really called that) in Southwest Michigan where my alma matter still stands today, Western Michigan University. At WMU I found a place I called home in a rather large house sitting at the corner of Fraternity Village Dr. and West Michigan Avenue. Inside the Sigma Kappa house I met some of the best girlfriends I would ever make. You might even call them my sisters – awwwww, cue the Lifetime movie music.
All theatrics aside – because there was plenty of that to go around (and around) back then. I was thrilled when my dear friend and sister Erin asked me to come to their home and photograph her family. Not only were Erin and I in the same pledge class, but we also lived in the same house the last three years of college. I even remember when she met her husband Bo! (Happy Halloween!) Their son Liam is quite possibly the sweetest little 2 year old I’ve ever met. We became life long friends…he even held my finger the entire car ride home from the beach. 🙂
Precious!!!!! Isn’t he?! I don’t think you could ever tell him no!
Ruger was their first baby and is one of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever had on a shoot! Love ya Ruge!!
I love the image on the left. It looks like Liam is saying to me “HEY!! What on earth are you doing?!?”
ERIN!! SOOOO GORG!!! These are model shots if I’ve ever seen them! You are beautiful!
We headed back for some fishin’ off the dock. They even caught one! (Well dad did.)
I’m so happy for your beautiful and happy family. You and Bo are AH-mazing parents! The love and joy is radiating off of all of you!! I couldn’t be happier for my dearest friend. I wish you nothing but the best that life has to offer. I can’t wait for our fun weekend together. I love you very much! Kiss Lilam for me. xoxo
