I’ve been bursting at the seams to debut this blog post!! And it seemed like every time I was allllllllllllmost there, something came up to delay it. But none the less…it’s finally time. I’ve loved all of my brides and grooms in 2012 and Sara & Alex were no exception. I simply adore them. I love their families, their friends, their style, their crazy love for each other…everything! So to be a part of their wedding day was a huge honor to me.
And as you can see below…we were working with a GORG day.
Sara, you are a stunning woman, both inside and out…and on your wedding day?? WOWZAS!!! You looked gorgeous!!
This church was amaze!!
And I loved how this little girl made sure she didn’t miss anything.
You’re SO MARRIED!!!!!!!
See, I told you these two are impossible not to fall in-love with. And Sara…that dress? Swooooooooon!!! It was made for you, fit you like a glove. 😉
Best moment of the day in Alex’s words: It was right after the ceremony ended and we finally had some time for just the two of us before we did our grand exit. You don’t really realize that on your wedding day, you don’t ever get to even talk before you actually get married. It was great to have some time just for us two before we joined everyone else to celebrate outside the church.
So not only are these two awesome…but so was their wedding party!! They kept me laughing the entire time we were together. You two are blessed with wonderful family that you can also call your friends.
Sara had personalized hangers made for each of her bridesmaids. Not only is that a sweet personal touch…but it makes the photographer in me really, really giddy. (I love me a fancy hanger.) Oh and that fall summer sun flare? Gimme more!!!
But wait for it….check out these studs! I’ve told many a groomsmen to “look GQ-ish!” Never have they hit the mark like this. Nailed it!
Soon…it was time to party. And imagine my excitement when I walked into this…I die!!! SOOOOOOOO BEAUTY-full!!!!!!!
I can’t say it enough…the details complete your day.
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Kevern!!! (I love dramatic entrances!!!)
And of course you guys had amazing toasts before dinner. The best man and groom’s brother had everyone laughing…
And crying… 😉
Best moment of the day in Sara’s words: I loved the downtime we had between the ceremony and reception. For the first time that weekend nothing was rushed and Alex and I felt like we could finally enjoy the day; not to mention our bridal party was very close to us so having that time to hang out was priceless!
Then it came time to dance. Mind you…I was well into my second trimester when I photographed this beautiful day. So every single dance had me wiping my own tears to ensure I was holding the camera straight. The love in your families just emanated through out the night.
I stole the beautiful newlyweds away from the dance floor to catch a few sunset photos. This is my favorite (and was almost your sneak peek!!)
I asked Sara & Alex to tell me what their favorite thing about each other was. Their answers, of course, made my heart melt…
Sara: No matter how high-strung I get over simple things, Alex is always the level headed one. He reminds me that as long as the two of us are together, nothing matters that much. He’s pretty funny and handsome too. 🙂
Alex: I love her effortless beauty. She can look stunning and make me laugh out loud, both without even trying.
They’ve been together for over 7 years! Did you just fall even more in-love with them?? Leave a comment to let them know. Sara is one of my best commenters on all of my blog posts, so I’d love to see her get some love in return. 😉
Congratulations to a most beautiful couple. I wish you two the very best from the bottom of my heart. I just love ya!!! xoxoxoxox
