It’s hard to believe that so many of my First Year babies are already turning one, running faster than my camera can catch them and smashing their first cakes. How does a First Year package work? Awesome question! And I have the perfect answer…you choose from any four major milestones that occur during the first year and a half of your child’s life. Many choose maternity, newborn, 7/8 months (because that age is magical) and 12/13 months. We normally toss in a cake smash for the final session because those are just fun. If you forgo the maternity session then we can add in a 3/6 month session or an 18 month session. I’m pretty flexible so if you’re interested, just ask!
I love the First Year session because they are either standing, just walking or possibly running for the first time. Most of my boys have been zooming around at their one year session. They seem even faster to me these days because I’m moving soooo incredibly slowly. With 26 days until my due date, I’ve found it’s best when I just plant myself in one place and wait for them to come zooming past. It works like a charm. 😉
Especially with a super, sweet and speedy guy like Landon! This munchkin was on the move. We started out at Whetstone Park so that we could take advantage of the crazy weather we were having that day. Huge, fat snowflakes were falling and sticking to the grass, but not the roads or sidewalks…perfection. Enjoy a few of my absolute faves from our First Year session together.
I love this little puffer vest. I need one for BBD.
Daddy tickles are the best. And this sweet family photo (my favorite kind of family photo!) was almost your sneak peek.
Ok, so I went back and forth between a few images for your sneak peek…this one was also a contender. I love his facial expression!!
We started to get a little cold, so we packed up and headed back to my studio…where cake awaited us all. But first! Let’s play, climb and run around a bit.
I put my chalk art capabilities to good use.
We got our hands so full of icing that we needed a bit of assistance to actually eat the cake. And I love this little “1” shirt.
This one has won out as my all time fave from the session. Landon, my friend…you are just the cutest.
Thank you for letting me celebrate your beautiful First Year together!! I can’t believe how fast it went by! Congrats on your beautiful family R.W. and Meg. I can’t wait to see what joys the next year brings you! xoxo
