You would think I take millions of photographs of my family. I don’t. I’m a bad person. I’m working on it. But in September we traveled to North Carolina (Leo’s 6th state he’s traveled to!! Just like mama.) to spend time with our luckiest relatives who live in a very enviable climate. I say that as it’s spitting a beautiful rain/sleet mix outside here in Ohio, in October. It’s not even Halloween! Kill me. I’m off track – I took my camera and I’m so glad I did.
We spent our last day at my aunt and uncle’s neighborhood pool. Drew’s sister and her beautiful family came to play too. It was warm, but the sun wasn’t shining when we got there. The place was empty. You could tell the family from Ohio was hyped to get in the water in mid-September. We were first in. Look at that white baby!!!
Lyn-Dee you are so grown up! You will forever be my baby cousin.
Austyn! You are GORG-eous! I couldn’t get enough of her little voice. And her hair! I want. I think she had a better haircut than I do. Fair to say, I have the most beautiful niece in the world.
My ladybug smiles still melt me.
Girl got air.
I love how the daddies are all in the pool. Good sports. Drew asked if I wanted him to take a few photos. That was nice of him, but I have a few rules for my camera. 1) No clicking and drinking. 2) Don’t let anyone else touch it in a body of water.
Believe it or not…Leo was having fun. He just doesn’t look like it. But I loved his funny faces.
These two became fast friends. This is one of my favorites from the day.
Sweet new baby girl Dylan slept through all the fun. When Leo met Dylan for the first time he grabbed and pulled her hair. I’m sure she’ll pay him back for that one day. With interest. 😉
It was good to be with family and it was hard to leave. Our time there was too short. Thank you also to Matt & Lisa for letting us crash at your house for a night. Pictures with you guys next time! I hope we get to see all of you over the upcoming Holidays! I promise to take more photos. I think it will be my New Year’s resolution. We love you guys so much!! xoxo
