MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Oh, what’s that? You’re over those holidays already? Pardon me…I’m just now emerging from the depths of the woooooooorst sickness to ever fall on our house. Drew, Leo, me…even the cat. All down and out for what seemed like weeks. So please forgive me for not blogging in almost a month. Please forgive me when you receive my New Years card and it’s mid-January.
On to what’s most important…this GORGEOUS wedding!
Courtney was the most detailed bride I’ve had. Ever. She had this awesome little care package for her girls to help them get through the day. Loved!
My girl Jenny of Jenny Barnes Photography helped me be in two places at once (as always). Her view is on the right. Mine on the left. Courtney…you are STUNNING.
It was time for their First Look. Oh and did I mention that it was pouring (I mean POURING the rain?) We made it work.
You two…I could take pictures of you two all day long. You are both GORGEOUS. And quite possibly the nicest people on the planet. I love people from Chardon!!
Haaaaaaaaandsome groom alert!
That one on the right? Fave!! Courtney’s parents had a beautiful home where we did their portraits. Her mother told us that when they first moved in and her girls were young, she pictured their wedding day here. It made me teary!
See that bouquet? Detailed, with the sweetest touches. She thought of everything. And I was truly obsessed with your earrings Courtney. When I went through your images after your wedding day I was embarrassed with how many pictures I took of them. 😉
Before we left for the church, the bride and groom exchanged gifts.
I love the energy at the back of the church before the bride walks down the aisle. So happy Jenny got this sweet image of Courtney and her dad.
This one also made me teary!
MARRIED!! WOOT WOOT!!
So gorgeous-ness runs deep in this family. Courtney’s sisters were a ball to be around and a huge help on their sister’s big day. I hope these BEAUTY-full ladies give me a call when it’s their turn! (winky face!)
So remember how I said it was pouring the rain? We had approximately an hour and a half of sunshine in between the ceremony and reception. PERFECTION! We knocked out some super fun wedding party photos.
This group was so good looking!! (fave!)
Another fave! Really…you two are perfect.
After Courtney saw their engagement photos (which were some of my FAVORITES ever!) she told me that she loved the pictures of Zeke when he was laughing. I tried to get more of those on their big day. 😉 (and of course there are those fab earrings again.)
It was time to party. And just in time too because the skies opened up and it began to POUR THE RAIN. The venue was so fitting for this wedding. The work and detail that Courtney put into it was breathtaking.
The wedding party was introduced like a basketball team – complete with the music. Courtney and Zeke had written up these little bios that were hilarious and highly entertaining. They were a surprise to the bridal party so their reactions were awesome!
The night couldn’t have been any more perfect…until it skyrocketed above perfection status when Courtney’s sisters and PARENTS got up and did a mini surprise performance from Pitch Perfect. I die!
They freaking killed it. Dead.
Congratulations you two!! It was such an honor to be a part of a day filled with so much love, laughter, family and friends. I couldn’t be happier for the two of you. xoxo

Advice for future brides and grooms :
Planning a wedding is stressful. You will be sick about what things cost and you will never please everyone involved. Make sure you understand what the day is really about and that you are pledging to love and supposrt someone for the res fof your life! We had a balcony overlooking our reception so halfway through the night we went up and just looked out at all of our friends and family who had come to celebrate this special day with us. We in the reception, the music, and the product of all our hard work over the last year. Most importantly, we sat there together jsut the 2 of us taking it all in. The day is a whirlwind and it goes so fast. Cherish every moment!
Overuse the words I Love You and I’m Sorry – especially during the planning process!
