Consider this my first #TBT blog post! (Mother, that means Throw Back Thursday. 😉 ) I held off posting Lora and Tyler’s ahhhhhh-mazing engagement photos until their Save The Dates had made it safely to their guests. By then, the weather was warming up and I didn’t want to terrorize everyone with the reminder of our brutal winter. BUT NOW, in the height of summer, seems like a perfect time to remember the insanity of winter 2013/2014 – and the gorgeous pictures it gave us. Brides, this is also great for you to see that you don’t have to have summer or fall engagement photos. If time allows, winter is a beautiful time of year to get unique and fun photos. You’re gonna love these!!
These two are soooooo dang ADORABLE!!! I met Tyler for the first time at our shoot and I instantly loved him. You two are perfect for each other!
I love it when couples include their fur babies. Bailey was awesome! And this below, is my fave.
Lora you are gorg. You are going to be the MOST stunning bride!
Sooooooo much snowwwwwww!!!!
Another fave! Lora, your blonde hair is perfection. Want it!
To say that I’m honored to be the one chosen to document your day, just doesn’t do my feelings justice. I love you guys and I’m so so happy to be a part of your day. CAN’T WAIT!! xoxo
LORA + TYLER
Dating : December 11, 2010 : Engaged : December 1, 2013 : Wedding : October 18, 2014
First Date : (as told by Lora) We went to the movies then had a few drinks after.
What was he like on your first date : Relaxed and confident all in his red flannel shirt, carpenter jeans and work boots attire!
How did you ask her : (as told by Tyler) I took her for a walk on the pier in Grand Haven and at the furthest point I dropped to one knee.
Were you nervous : Very nervous! In fact so nervous that when I opened the box, I dropped the ring!
Most excited for the wedding : (Lora) To wear my sister’s wedding dress! (Tyler) The honeymoon!
Stressful part of planning your wedding : (Lora) For me, it has been accommodations for our guests. Our very small wedding got bigger and our hotel didn’t! (Tyler) Figuring out the place and deciding who to invite.
Advice for brides : Ask your fiance for his opinion on some things. He may offer more than you thought!
Advice for grooms : Be open minded to all of your fiances suggestions, but also give your opinion.
