Do I have a story on these two!! Chris and I were in kahoots for a big surprise outdoor proposal that I would photograph. Thennnn an INSANE – I’m talking straight CRAZY – round of storms rolled through completely throwing his outdoor proposal off. We (sadly) rescheduled for two weeks later. Then I get the sweetest text from Chris “hey Megan…this ring is burning a hole in my pocket. I think I’m going to do it tonight and then we’ll just do the engagement session on the date we have scheduled.” Orrrr something very close to that. So he did it that night and of course she said YES!! Then I FINALLY got to meet up with the happy and newly engaged couple with their precious pup Bella for a super fun engagement session. These are some of my faves from our session!
I. Love. This. One!!!
Quick outfit & location change and we were back at it.
Annnnd another fave!
CONGRATS GUYS!!! I adore you both and had SO MUCH FUN shooting with you! Give Bella a squeeze for me. xoxox
KIM + CHRIS + BELLA
Together: 8.16.2013 // Engaged: 5.25.17 // Wedding: TBD
KIM // Hometown :: Sylvania, Ohio // Favorite Food :: frozen yogurt // Described by Chris :: big-hearted, beautiful, devoted, compassionate, selfless
CHRIS // Hometown :: Findlay, Ohio // Favorite Food :: Ribs // Described by Kim :: lovable, genuine, corky, handsome, driven
HOW THEY MET :: (As told by Kim) He supposedly first saw me at my best friends 21st birthday party but never approached me, I mentioned to one of my friends that I thought he was super cute. He finally came up to me at one of our favorite dive bars at UC Murphys. He must of heard that I thought he was cute because he was pretty confident 😉 After that first night he got my number and asked me on a proper date, and the rest is history.
HOW HE ASKED :: (As told by Chris) After several failed attempts (due to Mother Nature), I finally asked her to marry me in Dublin, Ohio at Hayden Falls. It was just us two and our favorite four legged friend. Thankfully she said yes and we spent the next weekend celebrating up at the lake with family.
