Danser Dolls | Ohio State Fair | Columbus Ohio Senior Photography

I just adore these girls! And this is one of my very favorite shoots that we do all year. The Ohio State Fair shoot is an invite-only photo shoot for the girls on my Danser Doll team that have posted their images, spread the word and have sent at least one referral to me. It’s my way of saying “Thank-you-so-much-I-adore-you-and-you-are-the-best!” This is the third year we’ve made the trip and I already have ideas for next year. Enjoy a few of my faves!

Phil & Allison | Columbus, Ohio Wedding Photography | Granville Wedding Photography

You guysssss! This is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest and most sentimental wedding love stories ever. These two left no detail unattended! They met and fell in-love at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. So naturally, they returned here to celebrate their love and start their life together. The day was magical! Enjoy my faves!

The First Look….perfection!

THE BEST CONFETTI EXIT….EVERRRRR IN LIFE!!!!! If you are dreaming up the perfect exit from your wedding ceremony. THIS. IS. IT. Biodegradable confetti launchers. Magic! (Link to get your own confetti launchers at the bottom of this post.)

We couldn’t stop playing with the confetti.

Instead of cake, they had their favorite…Whit’s Frozen Custard!

I can’t thank you two enough for having us be a small part of your fantastic day. We loved meeting your families and friends. Congratulations!!

FROM PHIL ::

Describe your wedding day in 5 words :: Happiest day of my life!!!

Funniest moment from the day :: When the wind kept picking up all of the confetti after the ceremony, long after the launch took place.

Most emotional memory from the day :: Seeing Allison for the first time on our wedding day in her dress for the first look. She looked absolutely gorgeous!

Advice for future Brides & Grooms :: Be involved in the planning! The wedding day will mean so much more to the both of you if you plan it together. Also, don’t be afraid to use the phrase “we’re on our honeymoon…” there are some perks that come along with it 🙂

Do anything differently? I wouldn’t change a thing! It was such an amazing weekend.

FROM ALLISON ::

Describe your wedding day using 5 words :: Magical, musical, emotional, personalized, CONFETTI 🙂 Alternate five words: A perfect representation of us

Funniest memory from the day :: Our officiant surprised us by pulling out a magic wand and saying “Matrimonius Finitum” to declare us husband and wife!

Most emotional memory from the day :: On the morning of our wedding, I saw my dad and mom sitting outside of the hotel, and my dad teared up as he told me that it seemed like just yesterday that I was a little girl eating popsicles with him.

Advice for future Brides & Grooms :: When people offer to help you, let them help! We had so many awesome friends and family members who offered to help us in big and small ways, and their help was especially useful during the weekend of the wedding.

Do anything differently? Looking back, the only thing I wish we had done differently was to videotape our ceremony–it was so personalized to us, and it would have been wonderful to have a recording of it to hold on to forever.
